We live in a world that has been changing from generation to generation. There are many differences in every generation of people. Some of them are good points, some are bad points. We have different thoughts, different ideas, and different values that our parents' generation. Therefore, we have to adapt with all those changes.


In my opinion, there are many differences between my generation and my parents' generation. Nowadays, technology is more developed. We have internet, cable TV, laptop, etc. With these technologies, we can learn many new things from all over the world. My generation is also more educated than my parents'. In my parents' generation, getting a master degree is not a must to get a job. Nowadays, we have to get a master dgree to have a good position in a company.


Moreover, we can also see the differences according to our choice to choose a place to live. Parents usually want to live in a quiet place. On the other hand, my generation prefer to live in the central of the city where everything is near. Another good point of my generation is we are more sophisticated than our parents'. There are many people in my parents' generation that don't know how to use the internet, text using cellphone, send email, etc.


Furthermore, every generation has its own negative sides. These are the negative sides of my generation. Since we have more facilities, like computers, cars, and TV, we become lazier. In my parents' generation, cars were very expensive and not everyone could afford it. Instead of it, they usually walked everywhere or rode bicycle which was healthies. With less facilities, they became hard working people.


In my parents' generation, their parents usually cooked at home. They seldom ate junk food. My generation usually eat outside which is not really healthy. The way we communicate with others is also different than our parents. Parents usually really care about courtesy and ethic. My generation also care about those things, but not as much as our parents. We are less concern about what others think of us than our parents. Moreover, we might be not closed enough to our relatives because we are busier and our house is far from theirs. Another negative side of my generation is we are more extravagant than our parents'.


In conclution, there are many differences in every generation of people, like my parents and me. Every generation has its own good and bad points. My parents' generation is more "outer" directed and my generation is more "inner" directed.

The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks

This novel is written by Nicholas Sparks.
It's a romance novel which tells a story about destiny.
As usual, Sparks make each chapter as the point of view of each character.
The story started when Logan Thibault, the main character, met Keith Clayton, the guy who has been the-woman-Thibault-was-looking-for's ex-husband.
It's so complicated when suddenly everything was actually connected.
Logan found a photo of a woman which brings him luck in his life.
Then Logan met Keith, who is also some kind of a police, on his way in searching of that woman.
At first, Keith didn't like him because he's weird.


Logan worked at that woman's grandma's house after seeing that woman.
After a while they started dating. 
Then Logan met Keith for the second time and found out that he was Beth(that woman)'s ex-husband.
He also found out that the photo he got belong to Beth's brother which also a marine just like him and died in Iraq.
At the end, Keith died when he tried to safe his and Beth's son.
After all, Logan was the guy who's destined to be with Beth.

My parents always give me everything that I need, and sometimes that I want. 

( Not everything , but quite a lot)

And it never cross my mind that 

someone could actually quit their school because they can't pay the fee..

I think those stories are just for the soap ophera..

OK, maybe that's too tough.

I never even think that people that can't go out with their friends just because they can't pay for movies are

And some of them are my close friends !!

I mean, how could I want so much things in my life while others can't even pay their school fees??

How could I always ask my parents to buy me something I want when even others can't pay for something they Need??

Maybe I shouldn't be so selfish and only thinking bout myself while others are fighting for just one spoon of rice..

Trip to Europe..

Last December, my fams and I went to Europe..

It's winter and so damn cold .

New Moon .......

  

Ok, I'm really excited today..
Trying to put it into words right now..
So, it all started at 8.30 when my bf (as in best friend, NOT boyfriend), Y texted me that we'll left at 10 straight to EX coz it was the only cinema that have New Moon coming out on the first day in our country and it'll be nuts thinkin' of the crowds..
Then at 10 am I left my math club by a reason called 'piano course'..
I waited for her like 30 minutes. Then she came to pick me up at school.
Arrived at EX.
OMG! I've never seen a cinema could be THAT full..
Like there were 1000 people inside.
Then Y and I lined up. We met our schoolmates, N there ..
After 30 minutes, suddenly the security said that this wasn't the line and there was no line in our line.. 
WTF??
So, we gave up. But N has a friend in front and ask her to buy the tickets ..
Then Y and I got really confused so we went to the premiere part hoping that would be more promising coz the regular already full booked till midnight.. 
The problem was, premiere was also FULL!!!
and all people that we saw lining up in a 300 meters line were just hoping to get the tickets for tommorow and the following day..
Too bad ..
We then decided to line for another film that was also good, 2012..
It's also in the premire.. But we don't care..
After 1 hour, suddenly N called Y that she has 2 tickets more and she's not gonna use it..
Me and Y almost scream and we were totally thankful to get those tickets while people who lined from 9 am can't even get the ticket for midnight show..
And guess what??
We got the sit for 1 p.m and that was the FIRST show of New Moon in Indonesia!!!!
Really it's the first!!
I don't care if we had to sit on the first row but New Moon is a MUST!!
Wow! God is amazing!!

It's time

Time run too fast
and I feel like I can't keep up 
For real..
Felt like I just joined the orientation program now it's already close to final exam.
Why can't time just .. slow down ?
So I can still hold in ..
